Yo!
The 2010 world champs get serious in Mont Saine Anne pretty much from today with the big deal starting over the weekend. I’m pretty sure FreeCaster are screening all the events you just have to make sure you get the time conversion right!

He is Carson Storch, the cyclist. I am Gunnar, the cinematographer. Together we share our passion of mountain biking through the art of film. Trigger Vision presents Carson Storch’s 2010 bike season. After multiple months of work we have finished our final piece and as life hits us beneath the knees we know it has been a long and exciting run. In a few days we will part ways as I head off to college and he finishes high school and pursues his passion for bikes. Who knows where life will take us next but until then enjoy the shots we captured this summer.
Did you get all that? Nah.. me neither. But there are some big loopy 3s and an amazing looking trail in here which is what we like!

Ill equipped and untalented the team headed out to Kurrajong for our first foray in the world of 4X racing this weekend. As you can see from the results above it was a pretty successful outing although the learning curve was pretty steep. No injuries to report though!

Some focused on the Elite competition but the real action was clearly in C-Grade men’s with 3 of the 4 finalists hailing from the WLaD factory team. Competition was fierce with very close finishes all day. D-Fox is pictured below on his ride to glory. Looks like the Hulk in body armour!

In the end the stage was set for a huge final with cRash, D Fox and TC (moi) making up 3 of the four. Matt from Newcastle rounding out the 4 and definitely would have been considered favourite heading into the final scramble. The gate dropped and you could have thrown a blanket over the Field for the first four turns. A little contact on Turn 3 and I though I might be in with chance. But Matt and D-Fox threw open the throttle through the lower part of the course. The field closed up again through the techy bottom section with more contact on the final corners. Finally a blaze of glory though the final sets of doubles and Dave and Matt had taken 1 and 2 respectively. I hung in for third with cRash breathing down my neck to take 4th. It probably only took 45 seconds but it was a hellava ride.

Triumphant we chilled and watched the Elite final which was very intense racing.

A special thank you from me to Dave B who went to NZ and left me a bike to race on. FANKS BRU! I promise I didn’t treat her too badly. For info on the next rounds and a full set of results check it here.

We are headed into an epic 4x battle this weekend as the Championships of the Red Ass 4X are being held in Kurrajong. Will cRash triumph? Will Dangerous Dave have his time in the sun? Will I even have a bike to ride?
If you are there keep an eye for us. We’ll be the ones laughing at danger and breaking between 99.6 and 100.4% of the rules.

Mont Saint Anne’s World Cup round was this weekend. DHR TV are clearly eager beavers ‘cos no one else has there footage up yet. Props.
The good news is Aussies took out the double on DH and 4X. Sam Hill took out the DH and Jared Graves owned the 4X. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwww!
For a full list of results check-edy-check this for DH and this for 4x.
